Dentures + Rehabilitacion

Dentures are an economical way of replacing missing teeth, and with advancements in technology and design, they can now look even more like natural teeth and gums, making it virtually impossible to distinguish between them.

Dentures are a quick and painless way to replace missing teeth and restore lost function. They can restore a smile and a person’s self-confidence, and make them appear younger. At our clinic in Miraflores or San Isidro, Lima we offer a range of dentures all made using CAD/CAM Technology in our own laboratory. The different types of dentures

Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are removable and replace groups of teeth or a number of teeth distributed around the lower or upper jaw. This type of denture includes prosthetic (or false) teeth and gum. It is attached to the natural teeth that remain and also blends into the gum. There are many different kinds of partial dentures, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.

Complete or Full Dentures
Full dentures are used to replace all the upper or lower teeth, and sometimes both. They are also made of prosthetic (or false) teeth and gum and sit on the gums. They are removable and temporary adhesives can be used to keep them securely fitted.

Implant Supported or Overdentures
Overdentures are a more recent addition to the range of denture options. They combine traditional dentures with dental implantology, i.e. dental implants. The denture is attached to a number of dental implants to ensure that it fits securely in the mouth. The number of implants is usually between 2 and 4. This type of denture can be very stable and comfortable. An overdenture can be fitted permanently or as removable. One benefit of this type of treatment is that the dental implants used to secure the overdentures prevent further bone loss in the jaw in the areas around the implants. This also helps to preserve facial muscles and form.

Testimonials

I had partial dentures and received world class service at an exceptional price. For future dental work, I will certainly make another trip to visit The Dental Clinic, and strongly encourage others, especially those reluctant to visit dentists, to do the same.
